DaDesktop Pricing

  1. Unit is defined as 8 Cores CPU / 8GB Memory / 50GB of Disk Space.
  2. The cost is calculated is according to the highest specification of the machine within 24 hours of starting from midnight local server time.
  3. Windows Licensing fee is additionally 5 EUR per day per desktop.
  4. Courses are billed to the Organization Owner based on users who created desktops during the duration of the course.
  5. Trainers -
    1. If the Trainer gets invited to the course, the Organization Owner will be billed for the course.
    2. If Trainer creates the course, the Trainer will be billed for it.

To summarise, the Organization owner of the course created is billed for the course.

Purpose

Remote desktops offered shall be used purely to deliver courses, consultancy, or recruitment.
 

Non-permitted use

The following use cases are not permitted:

  1. Website or another service hosting
  2. Bitcoin mining
  3. Performing performance testing

If DaDesktop staff detect any such activity, the service will be terminated promptly, and no refund will be offered.

 

Guarantee and Service Layer Agreement

DaDesktop guarantees 95% of availability of the service.

Maintenance, repairs, and upgrades will be performed outside hosted working hours 8 am to 8 pm local time (the time where the server is physically located).

 

Data Safety and Confidentiality

The service is offered as-is, DaDesktop cannot guarantee the confidentiality or safety of the data copied to the desktops. If this is required, please consider using DaDesktop On-Premise instead

As the purpose of the desktop is mostly for training, this service is not suitable for working with highly confidential material.

Authentication to the Remote Desktops is designed for convenience, not for security.

Troubleshooting Recording

Course Desktops (Fresh-start, Trainer and Participants) may be recorded for troubleshooting purposes.

DaDesktop PROVIDES THE SERVICES AS IS, WITH ALL FAULTS AND AS AVAILABLE WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS MAKE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES ABOUT THE SERVICES. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICES ARE MERCHANTABLE, OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY, ACCURATE, FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NEED, OR NON-INFRINGING. WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE EFFECTIVE, RELIABLE, ACCURATE, OR MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES (EITHER DIRECTLY OR THROUGH THIRD-PARTY NETWORKS) AT TIMES OR LOCATIONS OF YOUR CHOOSING. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION GIVEN BY DaDesktop REPRESENTATIVE SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY. YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL CONSUMER RIGHTS UNDER YOUR LOCAL LAWS THAT THIS CONTRACT CAN NOT CHANGE. YOU USE THE SERVICES AT YOUR OWN RISK.

YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY DISPUTE WITH US OR OUR SUPPLIERS IS THE CANCELLATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR, OUR AFFILIATES, AND OUR SUPPLIERS’ AGGREGATE AND CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE USE OF THE SERVICES EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FEES IF ANY, THAT YOU PAID DURING THE PERIOD DURING WHICH SUCH CLAIMS AROSE. WE, OUR AFFILIATES, AND OUR SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY.
