Objective

This guide is aimed at participants (students) who wish to join a course hosted on DaDesktop.

DaDesktop allows one or more Trainers on its Online courses.

There are multiple ways of assigning trainers to a course:

1. Inviting trainers via email
2. Assigning existing users in your organisation
3. Assigning any user as a trainer (Super Administrators only)

In order to assign a trainer:

1. Open a course
2. Click on Trainer & Participants tab

Firstly, what do we mean in DaDesktop by a Standalone Desktop?

There is a great overview of the different Desktops here. But simply, a 'Standalone' desktop is a machine that is not necessarily used during a course itself. It 'stands alone' as a separate desktop that can be used before or after the course is finished, or just used on its own without reference to a course.
