FAQ (DaDesktop for Training)

1. For Power Bi and VBA, is there Excel inside DaDesktop (DD)? (Because MS Excel functions are required)

  1. No, we don't provide MS Office inside DD (Win10 Pro). All we provide is a DD VM and a Training room
  2. The Trainer(s) should prepare a free-trial account of MS Office for all delegates
  3. Otherwise they should use their own account for MS Office

2. Can I copy something from my own desktop to my DD desktop?

Auto Course recording (Trainer's Desktop)

Course recordings of the Trainer's Desktop, or the Training Room (if this is used during the Course) are made automatically during the course.

Press the red-button again to stop the recording.

Recordings can be removed by the Trainer as required. Troubleshooting recordings are also made automatically when the course is being prepared, but are only used for troubleshooting course set-ups, if required.

Inviting Trainers

DaDesktop allows one or more Trainers on its Online courses.

There are multiple ways of assigning trainers to a course:

  1. Inviting trainers via email
  2. Assigning existing users in your organisation
  3. Assigning any user as a trainer (Super Administrators only)

In order to assign a trainer:

  1. Open a course
  2. Click on Trainer & Participants tab

Using DaDesktop Virtual Desktops for easy course training

DaDesktop Virtual Desktops provide an easy way to create online courses anywhere in the globe.

Please note : DaDesktop (DD) can now allow one or more trainers for its courses.

The trainers will each have their own login to DaDesktop, and can control the ‘Trainer Desktop’ as if it were their own.
